Boom Lift Welder/Robotic Welder

Job Summary: To perform all kinds of welding using gas and electric welding equipment; to operate a robotic welder.

Essential Duties:
1) Fabricates equipment/products by welding various metals
2) Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
3) Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts
4) Builds up worn or defective surfaces
5) Operates Robotic Welder - including start-up, operation, programming, and routine maintenance
6) Hand welds/tacks as necessary to complete robotic weldments

Qualifications:
1) Must pass "Light Industrial Skills Test"
2) Must pass "Mechanical Aptitude Test"
3) Must pass a welding test demonstrating a high level of welding skill
4) Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
5) Prefer candidates who have a history of stable long-term employment

Hours: This is a dayshift position (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
