Night Shift Tube Laser Operator

Operates a tube laser cutting machine; loads tubing into the machine by hand or with a crane; downloads part programs and lays-out (nests) parts on the tube; measures parts using calipers, tape measure, and protractor; adjusts parts programs to make parts within tolerance; and unloads, stacks, and counts finished parts. Starting pay for someone without experience is $13.21 per hour. An employee in this position would train on the day shift for 8 - 12 weeks (7am - 5pm Mon through Thu, 7am - 12pm Fri), then switch to night shift (6:30pm - 7am, Mon through Thu). As the employee builds up seniority, he/she can transfer to open day shift positions if desired.
